Pure Kitten Nest – Health Guarantee Agreement

This health guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the kitten.

Lifelong Genetic Health Guarantee

To the best of our knowledge, the kitten is in good health at the time of delivery. Please read the following agreement carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us for clarification.

Veterinary Check Requirement

The buyer is required to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within ten (10) working days of receiving the kitten. Failure to do so will void this health guarantee.

Once the examination is complete, the buyer must email confirmation of the vet check. If the veterinarian determines that the kitten has a serious health issue, the kitten may be returned within three (3) days for either:

  • A full refund of the purchase price, or

  • A replacement kitten of equal or greater value (at the breeder’s discretion).

This must be supported by an official letter from the examining veterinarian explaining the health concern in detail.

Conditions Not Covered

This guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

  • Allergies

  • Death due to accidents or non-health-related causes

  • Landlord restrictions, family disagreements, or the buyer’s circumstances

  • Illnesses resulting from neglect, exposure, injury, poisoning, or improper care

  • Expectations around temperament, size, color, life span, breeding, or show quality

The breeder is not responsible for any veterinary or other expenses incurred after the sale.

Genetic Defects

If a life-threatening genetic defect is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian and determined to have been present from birth, the breeder agrees to offer a replacement kitten. This is valid for up to two (2) years from the date of purchase.

In the event the kitten passes away, a necropsy (animal autopsy) must be performed by an accredited veterinary pathology institution to determine the cause of death. A necropsy by a local veterinarian will not be accepted. All related costs, including the necropsy and transport, will be the buyer’s responsibility. No replacement or refund will be issued without the necropsy report.

Note: Retained testicles and hernias are specifically excluded from this guarantee.

Breeder Rights and Responsibilities

  • The buyer must notify the breeder immediately upon discovering a genetic defect. Delays in notification may void this guarantee.

  • The breeder reserves the right to have the kitten examined by their veterinarian before a refund or replacement is approved.

Care & Maintenance Requirements

This guarantee is void if there is any evidence of:

  • Abuse or neglect

  • Failure to keep up with vaccinations, worming, or regular veterinary checkups

The buyer must provide proof of veterinary care upon request.

This guarantee does not cover common parasites such as worms, coccidiosis, or Giardia, which are frequently found in kittens and can be contracted from environments like soil or boarding facilities. All kittens are dewormed regularly from 2 weeks of age until delivery. The buyer must continue regular deworming and begin a monthly heartworm preventative. Note: Internal flea preventatives are not accepted and will void this guarantee.

Microchip Registration

All kittens are microchipped before delivery. The buyer must:

  • Have the chip number verified by a licensed veterinarian

  • Ensure the microchip is registered in the buyer’s name

Failure to do either will invalidate this health guarantee.

Lifetime Rehoming Support

If at any point the buyer is unable to care for the kitten, the buyer must contact the breeder first. The breeder will:

  • Either take the kitten back, or

  • Assist in finding a suitable new home

Communication Agreement

The buyer agrees to allow the breeder to communicate directly with their veterinarian regarding any medical issues involving the kitten.

Additionally, the buyer agrees to notify the breeder of any changes in their contact information during the kitten’s lifetime.
